Denise Boelens, PhD
Licensed as a clinical psychologist in both Utah and New York, Denise received her doctorate from the University of Washington in 1980. Her early professional experience includes several years at the VA Medical Center as a psychologist and administrator in both inpatient and outpatient substance abuse programs. She served as Director of Psychology Training and provides supervision to mental health professionals. In private practice for over 30 years, Denise treats individuals, couples and groups using a range of therapy techniques. Since joining the Center in 1994, she has integrated 20 years of training as a therapist and facilitator in Jungian social group work with cognitive behavioral techniques, technologies for creating, meditation and guided imagery techniques. She has a special interest in the mind/body/spirit connection.
